Troops of Assam Rifles Kohima battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) claimed to have apprehended a top leader of NSCN (K) from a hotel in Kohima on January 29. According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the arrested individual has been identified as kilonser AH Wangba Konyak son of W Ancho Konyak, resident of Yei village Mon district. The arrested kilonser was later handed over to North police station Kohima for further investigation.
