Assam Rifles (AR) under the aegis of Inspector General of Assam Rifles-North (IGAR-N) organises various programmes and activities across the state.
Zunehoboto Town: A security meeting with important leaders of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) of Zunebhoto Town was organised by the Assam Rifles on May 4.
During the meeting, Assam Rifles said important issues related to the security and mutual understanding were discussed. The meeting highlighted the indispensable understanding between Assam Rifles and local leaders in maintaining peaceful and secure environment in the area, stated the Assam Rifles.
Kohima: Assam Rifles organised “A Day with Coy Cdr” on May 4 for the students of Northfield School Kohima under the theme, “‘Empowering Youth Empowering Nation”. The programme was attended by 60 students and four teachers from the school.
Phomching Village: A medical camp was conducted by the Assam Rifles on May 4 at Phomching Village, Mon district. During the camp, a lecture on following healthy lifestyle, general medicines including bruise treatment was provided.
A total of 157 individuals availed the service.
