AR troops bust ‘illegal bottling plant’ in Dmu

Barely three weeks after an illegal liquor unit was busted in 7th Mile area, PRO (Defence) in a tweet stated that Assam Rifles personnel, in a joint operation with Nagaland police, busted another illegal bottling plant near 5th Mile area in Dimapur on September 28.

PRO stated that the security personnel, based on specific inputs, launched the operation and apprehended one person running the plant and handed over to the police. 
According to reports, 744 bottles of Mc Rum, 9000 empty bottles and documents pertaining to transaction of liquor were seized by the security forces. The apprehended person was identified as one Saddam Hussain.
