Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Dimapur district held a special workshop on June 7 at the BJP Dimapur district office to mark 11 years of the Narendra Modi-led Government.
The event, themed “Viksit Bharat Ka Amrit Kaal – Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan ke 11 Saal”, highlighted the government’s achievements and commitment to governance, welfare, and national development.
The workshop was chaired by Channi Kath, secretary and member of the 11 Years of Modi Government, who emphasized the government’s key milestones. The program began with an invocation by Marina, vice-president, followed by a welcome address from Alise Sangtam, general secretary of BJP Dimapur district. The keynote address was delivered by Maibam Sanjit, vice-president and convenor of the 11 Years of Modi Government, who spoke about major reforms and progress under Modi’s leadership.
A session on the role of social media, presented by Y John Patton, convenor of the IT Cell, discussed how digital platforms help promote government initiatives, citizen engagement, and counter misinformation.
The discussion session, moderated by Alise Sangtam, allowed attendees to share their perspectives on the Modi government’s journey. State Secretary Shilukalba Longchar and State co-chief spokesperson Akum Pongen shared the party’s future plans and upcoming programs.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by K Tokapu Zhimo, co-convenor of the Media Cell.
