CANSSEA to hold statewide sit-in dharna on Sep 23

As per the directive of All India State Government Employees Federation (AISGEF), the Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employee’s Association (CANSSEA) Friday informed that a statewide sit-in dharna would be observed on September 23, 2025 in support of the AISGEF’s 11-point charter of demands to the union government.
In a press release, CANSSEA press and information secretary Siewatho S Nyusou stated that CANSSEA central would stage the dharna at the CANSSEA office complex, Kohima, while CANSSEA district units would observe in their respective district headquarters.
The 11-point charter of demands include repeal all the four labour codes; stop privatisation / corporatisation of PSUs and downsizing of govt departments; constitute the eighth central pay commission; abandon National Education Policy (NEP) etc.
