To commemorate “World Oral Cancer Screening Month”, Pungro Community Health Centre (CHC) organised screening campS on the ill effects of tobacco for school-age children on April 1 at Christian School and Government Primary School, Pungro, Kiphire.
According to a DIPR report, the medical team under the direction of CHC medical officer, Dr. Weri Mero, screened students and conducted minor dental procedure. The students were also sensitised on oral health.
