CM-MoT team brings medical reliefs to Thonoknyu village

The Chief Minister’s Mobile Operation Theatre Team recently provided medical services to the people of Thonoknyu Village at the Primary Health Centre (PHC).


The team led by Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso conducted 30 surgeries and provided medical consultations to over 200 patients including 65 dental procedures. The medical camp covered around 10 neighbouring villages.


The Thonoknyu Area Public Organisation president spoke on behalf of the public and appreciated the chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for his initiative in launching the CM-MoT to serve the rural areas.


This initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to bring quality healthcare services to rural areas. The Mobile Operation Theatre Team has been instrumental in providing medical relief to remote villages. The team was accompanied by Benei M Lamthiu, MLA Thonoknyu A/C.
