Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio has congratulated Nagaland University (NU) for being ranked the top government university in India for “the highest number of patents granted in the last three years,” with 97 patents, according to India Today.
In a post on X, Rio said, “This reflects the hard work of the faculty, researchers, & students. I commend them for this mark of institutional excellence.”
He added that NU’s strides in research and innovation have strengthened it as a centre of academic excellence.
