A coordination programme on the three schemes- Poshan Abhiyaan (PA), Pradhan Mantri Mantru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) and Sakhi One Stop Centre (SOSC) was held at Seyochung Town on July 24.
A press release from Swasth Bharat Prerak, Itulungbe Ndang, stated that motivational speech on women empowerment was delivered by EAC, Seyochung, Nyamok Konyak, where she encouraged female participation in decision making body and harmony of both Sangtam and Sumi tribe in the town.
PMMVY district coordinator, Tongtali L and district programme assistant, Limitsung Sangtam, conducted awareness programme and training on form fill up of A-1, B-2 and C-3. The coordinator encouraged workers to identify beneficiaries in their own respective centers to avail the scheme. Criteria for beneficiaries to avail the schemes were also highlighted.
On Sakhi One Stop Centre, Centre Administrator, Rolila and Counselor, Tsoching, imparted their service in availing scheme to the AWWs present in the programme.
Poshan Abhiyaan, Swasth Bharat Prerak, Itulungbe Ndang, facilitated incremental learning approach training, growth monitoring training of infant meter, stadiometer and hand weighing machine to the frontline workers in the programme, the release stated.
