
Chang Students’Union Tuensang Town (CSUTT) held its 44th executive session on February 22 with its members, governing body, advisors and sectoral in-charge.
A press release from CSUTT press and publicity secretary, I Langa Chuba stated that, during the session various resolutions and commitments were made. It reaffirmed to work for the welfare and all round development of society and students, in cooperation with the district administration, Tuensang Chamber of Commerce and Industries (TCCI) and all civil societies.
The union resolved to conduct surprise checks on all the government and private schools and other departmental offices under its jurisdiction from time to time. The release stated that the union will also take its own course of action if found unsatisfactory. Union further resolved to undertake mass social work once a year and to seek support and cooperation from all the public of Tuensang.
Earlier, programme was chaired by union executive chairman M.Y. Chusa and secretary Kaimang Chang, invocation by Nasen FAM, presidential address was given by Thungti president and short speech delivered by union treasurer K Rechingkum Chang. New team members were inducted for the term 2020-2023.
