Chumoukedima Village Youth Society (CVYS), has strictly banned all hunting and fishing within the village jurisdiction.
A press release from president, CVYS, Rokovikho Thepa, and general secretary, CVYS, Kedovikho Visezo, stated that the violators will be fined up to Rs one lakh. Any kind of fishing, and picnicking at Khuovaru, is also strictly prohibited.
CVYS has advised the public to take note of the following restrictions within its jurisdiction: desist from igniting jungle burning and wild fires; picnicking without permission from youth office in any forest and river within the jurisdiction of Chumoukedima village; carrying any type of gun; collecting firewood and fodder; unauthorized door to door businesses; scrap business, etc. The public have also been advised to avoid loitering in the village vicinity after 8 pm without genuine reasons.
CVYS, in another press release, has informed all non Nagas residing within the village jurisdiction that challan receipts for cattle reaming will be issued and tenancy cards, trade licenses (2017-18 session) renewed from March 12 to March 28, at the CVYS office premises from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All tenancy card and trade license holders have been asked to bring two passport size photos along with NRCs compulsorily.
