DC Phek issues traffic advisory

Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Rhosietho Nguori has issued a traffic advisory restricting the movement of Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) along the Pfutsero–Khezhakeno Major District Road (MDR) following severe damage to a culvert near Kami Village (Chainage: 8+200 Km).
The damage was caused by incessant rainfall, which has compromised the structural integrity of the road.
In an official notification, DC informed that the restriction is effective immediately and advised all concerned to take alternate routes. Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) are exempted from the restriction.
Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B), Pfutsero Division has been directed to initiate repair works at the earliest to restore safe passage. The directive has been issued for strict compliance to ensure public safety and prevent further damage.
