Deputy chief ministers– TR Zeliang and Y. Patton, minister KG Kenye and NDPP have condoled the demise of Ketusieü (Atso) Kathipri, mother of Kaisa Rio, wife of Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio on August 24 at Kohima.
Zeliang: Deputy CM TR Zeliang taking to ‘X’, conveyed deepest condolences to chief minister Neiphiu Rio and his family on the demise of Ketusieü (Atso) Kathipri. “May God give you strength and solace during this time of sorrow and grief. And may the departed soul rest in Eternal Peace,” Zeliang said.
Patton: Deputy CM Y. Patton expressed pain to learn of the demise of Ketusieü (Atso) Kathipri, mother-in-law of chief minister Neiphiu Rio. Patton Friday took to X (formerly Twitter) and said that late Atso was a remarkable human being who served the people for decades as nurse till she retired as the Nursing Superintendent. “Her compassionate care and selfless service touched the lives of countless individuals and her legacy will continue to inspire others. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time,” Patton said.
Kenye: Power minister KG Kenye expressed grief over the demise of Ketusieü (Atso) Kathipri, mother of Kaisa Rio, lady wife of chief minister Nagaland Neiphiu Rio.
Kenye said late Ketusieü lived an exemplary life having dedicated better part of her life in nursing profession. Her immense contribution towards health sector and towards the society shall be cherished, he said.
Kenye, along with his family, conveyed sincere condolences to the bereaved family and prayed the Almighty God grant peace, comfort and courage and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace.
NDPP: In a condolence message, NDPP president Chingwang Konyak expressed deep sorrow to hear of the passing of Mrs. Ketusieü (Atso) Kathipri, mother of Mrs. Kaisa Rio, the lady wife of the chief minister Neiphiu Rio, on August 24 at Kohima.
Chingwang said that Mrs. Ketusieü, a nurse by profession, was known for her love, dedication and sincerity towards tending to her patients which she maintained throughout her years of service.
“To lose a mother who has been the fabric that has nurtured and cared for the family over all these years is one of the most difficult moments for the children and the family,” he said.
Chingwang, on behalf of the NDPP rank and file and his family conveyed heartfelt condolence to Mrs Kaiso Rio and the chief minister. NDPP prayed that Almighty God grant comfort and solace to the bereaved family members during this trying and difficult time and for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
NDDP Central Youth Org: NDPP Central Youth Organisation also expressed pain to hear about the passing of Ketusieü (Atso) Kathipri, the mother of the lady wife of Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio.
The youth body said late Ketusieü was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many being a loving mother and a nurse by profession. She was blessed with wisdom, experience and leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us, the youth body said, adding that her enduring power of love and care will be forever cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her.
The youth organisation conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that God Almighty grant solace and strength in this hour of grief.
