All rank and file of the Congress party from Eastern Nagaland have announced full support and cooperation to Chenmoho Resolution under the aegis of Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) not to participate in any Central and state election “against the failure to settle the Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT) as offered and assured by the Ministry of Home Affair of the NDA regime” in the Centre.
Eastern Nagaland Congress party, in a press release, lamented the false assurances of the BJP government time and again, besides the delaying tactics of the NDA leaders to lure the voters to fulfil their desired goal in every election.
Therefore, the party said it had decided not to participate in the Central and state elections in compliance with the decision taken by the ENPO and tribals leader for the common cause.
It may be noted that ENPO has convened a joint coordination meeting with leaders of different political parties from Eastern Nagaland region on April 6 at 10 a.m. at KU Hall Mon Town.
