Administrator and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) Mokokchung Municipal Council, Chumlamo Humtsoe, has notified that the bank passbook, passport and indigenous inhabitant certificate (applicable for the state inhabitants) can be produced for authentication of residential proof.
In case of conflicting claims and objections with regard to the residential status of the applicant or where the certificate cannot be issued because of unavoidable circumstances, ERO said the area administrative officer shall verify and dispose of the matter with the approval of the concerned deputy commissioner.
