Excise apprehends one

District excise personnel manning Chumukediam excise held gate led by AIE Phongtin H/C Lawrence along with constables Kiyelu, Akahoto, Jungshi, Thejong, Raplise, Athungo, Amet Phom and Zubeni apprehended one individual identified as Vepo Tenenu, son of Venesu Tenenu, resident of Chotu bosti under Kohima district on June 3.
In a press release, superintendent of excise and prohibition Dimapur, S. Chanlei Angh stated that while checking the suspected vehicle recovered 192 can beer (500ML), from Phek bound Mahindra vehicle bearing Registration No. ASO1P4932.
Later, apprehendee was arrested and booked under section 44 of NLP Act 1989.
