Farmers training held in Tening

Department of Agriculture, SDAO Tening, has organized a one-day farmers training on coarse cereals under NFSM on March 26 at Tening village. 
SDAO Tening, Dr. Zieleigai Ndang, highlighted about the programmes and policy of NFSM dealing with coarse cereals from rice and means for higher production and productivity per unit area of land. He also deliberated on the economic importance of maize cultivation and cost of production per hectare of land in comparison with other cereal crops. 
Agri Inspector, Bendangnaro, dwelt on the importance of jobs tear, their usages and cultivation practices, while AFA, Milcah, delivered on the packages of cultivation of jobs tear. The programme concluded with a technical session which was followed by interactions and distribution of seeds under NFSM.
