School toppers and subject distinction holders in the recently concluded HSLC and HSSLC examinations, from Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire GHSS, were felicitated on May 25 during the school morning assembly.
A press release from Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire GHSS principal, Dr. Bijano Murry stated that besides the award, a special cash award of Rs 25000 was given to school HSLC topper in HSLC 2018, Ayesha Begum by retd. DGP Nagaland, K. Kire. The award is a onetime award to commemorate 100 years of Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire Angami passing matriculation in 1918.
The programme was attended by the family of late Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire led by advisor Rural Development, Dr. Neikiesalie Kire, retd DGP Nagaland, K. Kire, ex-MLA, Abao Kire, representatives from DSU, KVSU and school managing board members besides the staff and students of the school.
