Sukiur ‘B’ village is gearing up to host the forthcoming 15th general conference of Kiphire Tuensang District Sumi Students’ Union(KTDSSU) which would be held from March 4-5.
Sukiur B village is the lone village under Tuensang district inhabit by Sumis. The conference is expected to be graced by minister for power C. Kipili Sangtam and parliamentary Secretary R. Tohanba, as chief guest and guest of honour respectively while Khekiye Sema IAS (Retd) and deputy director SW Atoli would be the conference speakers.
Meanwhile, KTDSSU president Yashika and general secretary Bothuka has directed all federating units to reach the venue before 2 p.m. on the arrival day. They have also informed that a general meeting has been convened on March 6 for which all units, church leaders, GBs, chairmen, VDB members, village elders, former officials of KTDSSU, ESH, KDSKH, ESTH, elders have been asked to attend the conference.
