DIMAPUR: A one‑day joint orientation programme for members of the financial committees—namely the Public Accounts Committee, Committee on Public Undertakings and Estimates Committee—has been scheduled for June 5 at the K. Shikhu Conference Hall, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
According to the Assembly Secretariat, the programme is being organised to sensitize members on the mandate, working system, powers and functions of the financial committees. Resource persons from the Office of the Accountant General, Nagaland, the Finance Department, Government of Nagaland, and PRIDE, Lok Sabha will address the members during the session.
All members of the financial committees have been requested to make it convenient to attend the orientation programme.
