KWB and KYO condemn assault

Kezieke Welfare Board (KWB) and Kezieke Youth Organisation (KYO) has strongly condemned the alleged assault on a Naga girl by one Baharul Islam and his accomplice, Mainul Haque, in Kohima town on the night of May 20. KYO president, Neibazotuo Sorhie and information & publicity secretary, Neidi James Dziivichü, in a press release, lauded the police who were on duty at the time of the incident and rescued the girl. “The case is now registered at Women Cell, North Police Station” it said. The organizations have requested the authority to handle the case with all seriousness and award befitting punishment to the culprits involved in the case.
