Lotha Catholic Khumshum Kohima (LCKK) organised a prayer and recollection in preparation for the Diocese Jubilee on October 15 at SFS church Kohima with Rev. Fr. Glanson Chacko as the speaker.
The programme was held on the theme “May my prayer be like incense in your presence, my uplifted hands like the evening sacrifice” – Psalms 141-2 .
LCKK media cell informed that the programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Rosary followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, healing and deliverance.
In his sermon Rev. Fr. Glanson Chacko highlighted on the importance of prayer and recollection ahead of the diocese jubilee. He mentioned that prayer, being the cornerstone of faith, play a central role in this preparation.
Fr. Glanson also stressed on the importance of recollection, a practice of introspection and self-examination, that has also become a focal point in the lead-up to the jubilee. The programme concluded with a Holy Mass celebration.
