Power department, Mokokchung division has informed that due to shutdown of 220/132KV PowerGrid Sub-station at Mokokchung for maintenance from June 1, load shedding in five districts Mokokchung, Tuensang, Mon, Zunheboto and Longleng under Mokokchung transmission division may experience more load shedding hours than usual.
Sub-Transmission division Asst. Engineer, Thungbemo Lotha said shutdown of the PowerGrid sub-station may go on June 12. Therefore, all affected consumers have been requested to bear with the inconvenience till normal power supply is restored.
