DIMAPUR: As part of pre-monsoon preparedness measures, a mass social work was conducted across Medziphema sub-division on May 21 in view of the onset of the monsoon season.
The initiative witnessed active participation from government offices, institutions, village councils, GBs, business establishments, and members of the general public.
During the mass social work, emphasis was placed on the clearance of construction materials and debris, unclogging of drainage systems, removal of foliage and waste disposal, and cleaning of public spaces and utilities.
The Medziphema Administration and MTC extended assistance in clearing garbage and ensured smooth execution of the social work.
