In a shocking revelation, a dead body of a minor was found in Kohima town area on August 28. According to PRO Kohima Police, on receiving the report, the police team rushed to the spot and conducted all the mandatory legal formalities – inquest and post-mortem.
The team also visited the place of occurrence and examined in detail by officers of DEF Kohima and Forensic Team, Dimapur supervised by Additional Superintendent of Police, Kohima. In this connection, a case has been registered and an investigation has been initiated at the time of filing this report.
