Moatsü festival celebrated in Bengaluru

Moatsü, the premier festival of the Ao Nagas, was hosted by the Ao Senso Telongjem Bengaluru (ASTB) on May 1 at SCMI Hall in Bengaluru.
A press release by ASTB informed that Aos came together to celebrate and witness the colorful and unique traditional festival Moatsü with executive director – BR Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Bendangyanger, as the guest of honour.


In his address, Bendangyanger emphasised the importance of preserving one’s culture and tradition. He appreciated how people, despite being away from their hometown, wholeheartedly practices and preserve the age-old tradition.


Ao Senso Telongjem Bengaluru president, Imli Tzudir, delivered Moatsü greetings and the essence of Moatsü was defined by ASTB treasurer Lima Aier, while ASTB general secretary Nokin Jamir delivered the vote of thanks. Other highlights of the programme include folksongs and tug of war.
