MVGOK new team takes charge

DIMAPUR: The handing over programme of the Meriema Village Gazetted Officers’ Krotho (MVGOK) was held on May 22 at the residence of outgoing president Neidilhou Keditsu at New Secretariat, Kohima.
In his address, Keditsu congratulated the new team and expressed hope that it would continue to uphold the spirit and objectives of the Krotho by carrying forward initiatives for the welfare, unity and progress of the village. He acknowledged that while the outgoing team may not have achieved all its aspirations, every effort was undertaken with the guidance of God. Reiterating the objective of MVGOK, he said the Krotho was formed to foster mutual understanding and cooperation among members, and assured that the outgoing team would extend support whenever required.
Incoming president Dr. Thepfudi Shüya, in his address, stressed the importance of unity and coordination for the welfare of officers and the village community. He appreciated the outgoing team for its leadership and contributions towards the growth of the Krotho and the people of Meriema Village.
The newly elected executive members of MVGOK for the 2026–2028 tenure included- Dr. Thepfudi Shüya as president, Er. Neilhoukholie Chielie as general secretary, Kevidezo Chiesotsu as treasurer and Asonuo Kezieo as information & publicity secretary.
