Naga Hoho flays violence

Condemning violence in any form, the Naga Hoho has resolved to view seriously the threat perception and intimidations served to Naga leaders and citizens, and urged all underground factions to refrain from such activities in future. The federal assembly of the Naga Hoho (NH) held Wednesday at Red Cross building, Kohima, also deliberated on issues such as reconciliation, unity, political solution.
Assembly secretary, Naga Hoho, Kenyuseng Tep in a press release said members present in the meeting suggested that Naga unity, reconciliation and political solution should be pursued simultaneously. The house also expressed serious concern over “rampant corruption” in Naga society, particularly in the government set up and resolved that corruption should be checked. NBCC peace affairs director also said reconciliation among Nagas was paramount, the release added.
