Nagaflix OTT & Nagaflix TV launched at Dimapur

King Chilli Entertainment Dimapur (KCED) launched the first ever Naga movie app “Nagaflix OTT” and “Nagaflix TV”, at Hotel Saramati, on Thursday, here at Dimapur. The app was launched by chairman, Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Theja Meru.
Addressing the gathering, Meru quoted “Dreams are meant to be fulfilled and impossible is nothing”, and commended the director, KCED, Aghato Kinny, for taking the initiative to create an app with a business model, aiming to generate resources and boost the economy while providing a platform for Naga filmmakers.
He noted that through the app, everyone around the world would be able to view the contents uploaded in the app, adding that the app will highly enhance the revenue for Naga film makers.
Meanwhile, addressing media fraternity, Kinny stated that the app was available to all android users, further expressing hope to launch the app in the iOS platform in the near future.
He informed that subscription to the app would be free, however adding that users would have to pay minimal amount for the movie they wanted to watch.
Kinny also shared that any film fraternity would be able to put up their films by signing a contract with the KCED.
Meanwhile, Kinny also informed on the launching of his movie, titled, “AK: The Ultimate Man of Justice”, adding that the movie was based on curbing the influence of Drug Lords in the State, prominently dealing in “Sunflower”. He said that viewers would experience action, comedy, romance and tragedy by watching the movie. He added that the Movie was in Nagamese, with English subtitles.
Kinny informed that the movie would be available for viewers, at the recently launched “Nagaflix OTT” and “Nagaflix TV”, by paying a sum of Rs. 499.
Asked on the funding of the movie, he informed that the movie was self funded by the production house itself. It can be noted that the movie is written, directed and acted by Aghato Kinny, casting infamous Boss Meren as the villain, Suzanna Kikon as lead actress, and Rakesh, Tohuto Yeptho, Kapu Achumi as supporting characters. Earlier, dedicatory prayer for the app was offered by Executive Secretary, WSBAK, Rev Dr Phughoto Sema.
