The department informed that reconciliation of the CB had been initiated from the month of November 2025 allocation with the CB of September, 2025, adding that the same would be continued henceforth.
The changes have been made as per the directive during the NE conference held in Guwahati under the chairmanship of joint secretary, ministry of consumer affairs, DoFPD, on January 30 and 31, 2025,
As per the policy of the Government of India, the department has migrated its earlier applications utilised under NFSA Act, 2013 to SMART PDS wherein a new module, Integrated Aadhaar enabled Supply Chain Management (IAeSCM) is being followed. Under the module, systematic steps starting from Indent generation to FCI and issue of Release Order by FCI up to ePoS transaction by the FPS have to be performed sequentially.
As such, all the stakeholders like the department, FCI, PDC incharges, FPS operators and Ration Card holders play a vital role to complete the flow chain of the Supply Chain Management system which functions on real-time mode. The department stated any disruption in the sequential system adversely affects the normal flow.
