NASU holds 48th biennial general conference

The 48th biennial general conference of the Northern Angami Students Union (NASU) commenced on March 14 in Chedema Village under the theme “Empowering students for a resilient future” hosted by Chedema Students Union.


Advisor of School Education & SCERT, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, who graced the conference as special guest, said Northern Angami was a blessed region and encouraged them to share the blessing with the Nagas and let posterity remain grateful to the region.


Emphasising on the importance of education and how parents are sacrificing for their children education expenses, he challenged the students to be sincere and take care of the government schools and help them grow.

The inaugural session was chaired by Meteitoulie Talie and invocation by Mhalenei Anthony Keyho Senior Catechist Holy Cross Church Chedema while presidential address was delivered by Atouzo Kerhüo, president NASU.
Khriesamhalie David Mere, president ASU and Keduo-u Zumu, president NAPO also shared greetings.
