NavSahyog Foundation, a Bangalore based NGO working in 20 villages under Dhansiripar circle Dimapur, conducted a training with all village coordinators, area facilitators and field coordinator on September 2. The training was held under the Foundation’s program, “Prakriti Prem” (Love for Nature), at Disagaphu Village Council Hall, by co-founders Paritosh Seagal and Mary Dolly.
A press release by Field Coordinator and Program Lead, Dimapur, NavSahyog Foundation, Dete Therie stated that NavSahyog Foundation Dimapur team along with co-founders also carried out weeklong visits to various villages and held community meetings at Hazadisa, Doyapur, Disagapu, Urra village. At the visit, the team held discussions on objectives and visions of the Foundation with community members and leaders.
The release added that Prkriti Prem was a core programme under experiential learning of NavSahyog Foundation.
The experiential learning will be a year-long program teaching children about environment and climate change, where every child would be given one fruit sapling to plant on their own in their home surroundings and be taken care of by them.
