Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) called on the chief minister of Nagaland, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu at his office chamber on Thursday.
A press note by NCSU vice president, K. L. Setuo Rutsa and general secretary, John Kath, stated that during the meeting the team had impressed upon the chief minister that under his leadership better cohesion and understanding would be ensured for larger interest of Naga people.
NCSU stated that the team consisting of 27 members acknowledged the chief minister for his performance in a short period of time.
The release stated that the chief minister had sympathized about the hardships being faced by the local contractors.
He also challenged the Naga contractors to be capable of competing with other contractors/company in the rest of the country.
