Despite notification issued through media, NSCN (I-M) said that many shops have been found selling all forms of gutkha openly. Therefore, NSCN (I-M) secretary UT Akato Swu has warned those shopkeepers to desist from selling within five days from the publication of this notification.
CAO- UT will also be conducting checking and defaulter would be dealt strictly, stated the release.
Meanwhile, CAO-UT informed that “unscrupulous habitual person” by forging the signature of the competent land revenue officer was issuing patta to different person against the same land.
In this regard, the GB/chairman has been directed to verify thoroughly before issuing NOC or even village land patta. Further, CAO warned that stern action as per the “ahza” of NSCN (I-M) would be initiated against individual found involved in such activities.
