The Ministry of Health, NSCN/GPRN, in collaboration with the Mongleu Kamdi Public Organization (MKPO), Jalukie, Peren district organized a free medical camp in July 10 at Kamdi Bazar to promote community health and expand access to medical services in the region.
In a press release, NSCN/GPRN (I-M) through its MIP informed that the camp was led by a medical team comprising Dr. Diliang (General Medicine), Dr. Sunderlal (Gastroenterologist), Dr. Yimlong (Dermatologist), and Dr. Tahito (OST).
Health staff and nurses from the Ministry of Health, along with volunteers from MKPO, provided free consultations and medicines to attendees from Kamdi village and surrounding areas.
The initiative marked a significant step toward improving healthcare accessibility, especially for remote and underserved populations. The camp’s smooth execution was made possible through coordinated efforts between government health personnel and local public organization members.
