
NSCN (reformation) has expressed grief over the untimely demise of late Muzivoyi Puro, deputy Kilonser, who passed away on March 6 after a brief illness. In a condolence note, NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) through its MIP described late Puro as a sincere and a dedicated nationalist who served under various capacities, and defended the Naga cause till his last. He was presently serving as the chairman (Chakhesang region) and was an active member of ceasefire supervisory board (CFSB). NSCN (R) stated that the late leader left behind his wife and five children with his legacy as “a charismatic persona, an outspoken extrovert and a broad-minded frontrunner.” It said that his demise, the people had lost a potential leader, a promising compatriot, a gallant torchbearer, a true comrade and a dear friend. NSCN (R) further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
