NSSATA to resume phase-II stir

Nagaland Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers’ Association (NSSATA) Central and district executives on Wednesday unanimously decided to resume the phase-II agitation from June 1 to 5.
The decision was made at a joint meeting of the central and district executive on May 30, a press note by NSSATA general secretary Vinoka Sohe stated.
It said the members met the Advisor School Education on May 1 and also held a consultative meeting with the chief secretary on May 3 followed by a meeting with the director on May 10 and 12, 2018.
However, the department was unable to give any substantial response as a result of which, the association was compelled to initiate the phase-I and phase-II agitation.
It further warned initiating phase-III agitation from June 6 (sit-in protest at the directorate) if no positive response was received.
All the members have been directed to gather at the School Education directorate on June 6 at 8 a.m.
