‘Pathkind’ Diagnostic Lab inaugurated in Mon Town

To provide easy access to healthcare diagnostics for the population of Mon district Pathkind Collection Center, diagnostic lab, was inaugurated in Mon town on April 5, 2025 by Mankhao Konyak, MLA of Mon town.
The Center is a collaboration between Pathkind Laboratory, a National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accredited lab, and Eastern Diagnostic Center, Mon town.
The inauguration of the centre was also graced by CL John, Minister of Environment, Forests & Climate Change; Konngam Konyak, advisor Treasuries & Accounts and Art & Culture; Nyamnyei Konyak, MLA and Manpon Konyak, MLA. Wennyei Konyak, Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, Dr. Hentok Phom, Joint Director and State Nodal Officer (Health & Family Welfare), New Delhi and Dr. Supongmenla Walling, CMO, Mon district also attended the inaugural programme. Pathkind Collection Center– is accredited by NABL, ensuring high standards in diagnostic services. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art machines and staffed by certified pathologists and technicians. Pathkind will offer various health check-up packages, including specialized tests in oncology, neurology, gynaecology, nephrology, and more.
The Lab will also provide home collection services for patient’s convenience.
The Center aims to improve healthcare accessibility in Mon district by providing high-quality diagnostic services, reducing the need for patients to travel to higher centers for medical care.
