DIMAPUR, MAY 14 (NPN): Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday called on Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi and apprised her of Nagaland’s financial status and development priorities.
In a post on X, Rio said the delegation, including deputy chief ministers– T.R. Zeliang and Y Patton, and Achumbemo Kikon, MLA, informed the finance minister about the continued support required for the state’s developmental needs.
The chief minister expressed gratitude to Sitharaman for her understanding and assurance of support.
