Republican Party of India (Athawale) [RPI(A)] has welcomed the merger of the National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) with the Naga People’s Front (NPF), terming it a bold and audacious step towards establishing a unified and robust regional political party in Nagaland. In a statement issued by RPI(A) president Mughato Aye, the party reaffirmed its unwavering support to the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) government under the leadership of chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, describing it as a move that strengthens regional unity and political stability in the state.
