RSZ objects to hurdles in developing NH-2

Rengma Selo Zi (RSZ) has expressed its strong objection to any kind of obstruction from any quarter in the development of NH-2.
In a press release, RSZ president Kenneth Kath and general secretary Shatilo Kent said they were not only shocked but also dismayed by the recent developments where a group of land owners and contractors were reportedly having misunderstanding over works on construction of culverts etc.
Reiterating their strong objection to any disturbance in the smooth execution of the project within RSZ’s jurisdiction, they also reaffirmed the organisation’s stand to continue opposing such elements. While demanding that quality of work should not be compromised in any manner, RSZ asserted that they would support land owners if they were denied their due share of compensation.
RSZ also appealed to all right thinking organisations and stakeholders to extend cooperation and display an accommodative spirit towards creating a congenial environment for development to take place.
RSZ further declared its “full and uncompromised cooperation” for developmental activities in its area.
RSZ reiterated that as a voluntary organisation, it was committed to public welfare activities and firmly stood for ushering development and smooth implementation of development projects. It also called for participation of all mass-based organisations to ensure that the mega project for development of NH-2 did not end up becoming a failure in the face of vested interests.
