The newly constructed office of Ruovi Village Level Organisation (VLO) Zhadima, a conglomeration of 19 Self Help groups (SHGs) in Zhadima Village, was inaugurated by Block Development Officer (BDO), RD Chiephobozou, Seyiekhrielie Rio, on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering, Seyiekhrielie said that the VLO was established on March 1, 2019 and at present has a strength of 142 members out of 19 SHGs under the Ruovi VLO Zhadima.
He lauded the members of the VLO for availing loans and initiating startups and also encouraged other members to also follow suit.
He informed that there were many inactive members and therefore encouraged them to tap their full potential and assured government’s support towards the VLO in all possible ways.
Seyiekhrielie also commended the Ruovi VLO for their annual cleanliness drives that extended to local schools and hospitals.
The BDO also challenged the VLO to adopt a forward-thinking approach.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by, MBK Ruovi VLO member, Vilhoubeinuo, and invocation by pastor, Zhadima Bawe AG Church, Rev Thepfusalhou.
Greetings was conveyed by Village Council Chairman, Neilalhoulie Soliezuo, while VDB secretary, Roko Angami exhorted the gathering.
