With an aim to create awareness on basic financial facilities offered by State Bank of India (SBI) and how to avail, SBI Nagaland University (NU) Lumami branch conducted financial literacy camp under the sponsorship of NABARD, Dimapur at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Zaphumi, Zunheboto, on October 2. During the camp, deputy manager Gunin Rai Baruah highlighted different types of accounts, interest rates and documents necessary for opening an account to the participants while branch associate Imtitoshi Imsong, presented the procedure for filling deposit and withdrawal forms. He also illustrated how to fill the account opening application form with emphasis on the type of account (Pehli Udaan) for the students present.
More than 100 students and staff of JNV attended the programme.
