State Bank of India holds ‘Ratri Shivir’ at Phaipijang

In a bid to strengthen relationship and bonding with rural customers, a Farmers’ Connect Program – Ratri Shivir with the theme ‘Ek Raat Annadata Ke Saath’ was held on the evening of July 22 at Phaipijang village, Dimapur by State Bank of India Dimapur Region.
A press release by the chief manager of State Bank of India, Regional Business Office. Dimapur stated that the programme was attended by chief manager credit RBO Dimapur, Rapi Pao Paomai; chief manager SBD RBO Dimapur, Temsurenla Jamir; branch manager SBI Purana Bazar Branch, I Temjen Changkiri; branch manager SBI Golaghat Road, Anthony Ngourii; GB Phaipijang Village, Letthang Chongloi; Chairman PVC, Shri Jangpao Changsan ; Secretary PVC, Danny Lenthang; and around 120 villagers.
The Bank officials handed over in-principle sanction letter to 34 piggery farmers in the village. As part of the programme, Bank officials highlighted schemes like Piggery (Mudra) and Kisan Credit Card and also created awareness on maintaining credit discipline. Seven meritorious students and two Self Help Groups from the village were also awarded by the bank.
