Sümi Hoho new office bearers take charge

Sümi Hoho (SH) office bearers held the “handing and taking over of office” programme at Sumi Hoho Ki, Zunheboto on May 2.
A press note by outgoing SH general secretary, Vihuto Asumi stated that after handing and taking over of office formalities were done, short speeches were delivered by Hekhushe Shikhu and Nikheto Jimomi, the newly elected president and general secretary respectively.
Earlier, the programme chaired by vice president Vihoshe Muru started with a prayer of blessing by Vikali, assistant pastor, Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto. Short speeches were delivered by Toniho Yepthomi, president (outgoing), Vihuto Asumi, general secretary (outgoing), Ghokhevi Chophi, finance secretary (outgoing) and Kakuto Chishi, secretary (outgoing) exhorted and encouraged the newly elected officials. The outgoing officials also reassured their cooperation to the newly elected officials.
