Talk on ‘Indian Navy as a Career Choice’

School of Engineering & Technology, Nagaland University organized a talk on “Indian Navy as a Career Choice” in collaboration with Indian Navy on September 4 at Dimapur campus. Gracing the event as speaker, Commodore Vivek I Hotti, highlighted that 90% of India’s trade by volume and over 70% by value is conducted by sea.

He also mentioned India’s vast Exclusive Economic Zone of over 2 million square kilometres. Aspiring candidates can join various branches of the Navy, including executive, marine engineering, and others while urging students to consider a career in the Indian Navy. In a press release by Placement Coordinator, Ramesh Singh, the programme was organized for final year students of School of Engineering & Technology with 50 participants. Er. Aosungkum earlier chaired the program.
