Three-day Mathematics teachers training on Teaching Learning Material (TLM) came to an end at GHSS auditorium, Wokha on August 30.
A press release by ToT and member MLEPN Y, Thungdemo Humtsoe stated that, R. Nzanbeni Lotha, senior SDEO and DEO in-charge Wokha, graced the inaugural function.
She said that mathematics was the foundation of all scientific discoveries and therefore relevant for mathematics teachers to educate the students in achieving this prospective. Observer for the three-day training Thungchibemo Lotha, reader, Head Mathematic Cell, SCERT Kohima, apprised the participants to be sincere and dedicated in the implementation of the programme.
At the valedictory function, special guest, Vanthungo Kikon, senior principal, GHSS Wokha urged the participants to know their position in relation to the students and teach in a way that students could understand.
Resource persons were W. Renpomo Tsopoe, co-ordinator Mathematics Learning & Enhancement Programme Nagaland (MLEPN), Y. Thungdemo Humtsoe, ToT & member MLEPN and Lucy Tsopoe, member MLEPN. Altogether 33 participants from GHSS, GHS and GMS attended the programme.
Valedictory function was chaired by W Renpomo Tsopoe and summed up by Y. Thungdemo Humtsoe.
