One day orientation programme for 8th batch cum felicitation for the batch vocational trainees was organized by Turning Point Organization (TPO) on June 29 at educational block research centre (EBRC) hall, Mon.
The programme was graced by superintendent of police, Mon Yangba Konyak (NPS) as chief guest and additional deputy commissioner, Mon, M.A. Shihab (IAS) as the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Yangba acknowledged the organization for providing vocational training to school drop-outs unemployed youths who are leading a miserable life.
He also congratulated the successful trainees and further encouraged the new batch trainees to avail the training sincerely.
While extending appreciation towards the organization for conducting such training, M.A. Shihab encouraged the trainees to have a vision and dream to succeed in life.
He also said training alone cannot lead to professional until and unless “you” have passion to work dedicatedly and sincerely.
Earlier the programme was chaired by TOP board member, Chinglang while god’s blessing was invoked by women leader, Newsite fellowship KBCM, Phelem and keynote address was delivered by director TPO, Chongying Yinlunghu.
The programme culminated with a distribution of certificates to the successful trainees by chief guest followed by closing prayer pronounced by Police Baptist Church Mon associate pastor, Dil.
