One-day training for BLOs of 43 A/C Tapi and 56 A/C Mon on summary revision of electoral roll was held on September 28 at Council hall.
In the meeting assistant election officer, Mon briefed the purpose of training and imparted technical aspects of filling up forms for different purpose. He also advised BLOs that e-roll should be keep presentable to challenge any elections with error free and authentic as desired by the ECI.
SDO (Civil) Mon Ilika Zhimomi and EAC Thejavizo Nakhro informed BLOs to complete the exercise within stipulated time and submit it through respective supervisors to ensure no mistake was done. BLOs were also asked to give weekly reports and check properly before submitting the forms. They also sensitized on claims, objections and about the inclusion of physically challenge people. The training was attended by BLOs and supervisors of the two assembly constituencies.
