An Awareness program on the functioning of Legal Aid Cell was organised by Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) on September 5, at Red Cross conference hall Kohima.

In pursuance to the travel advisory of the Home Department Nagaland, Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru has issued for the movement of essential commodities and commuters traveling along the Pimla Junction Mhainamtsi Jharnapani road, the following timings have also been issued for strict adherence, from 6.am to 5.pm only light vehicles are permitted to and from along the Pimla - Mhainamtsi road.

Zeliang Students’ Union Nagaland (ZLSU) has appealed to the telecom operators to improve their services in Peren district. Zeliang Students’ Union Nagaland through its media cell stated that residents of Peren district were struggling with poor network coverage provided by leading telecom operators including Jio and Airtel.
